Thrift Haul #1

Here it is, as proposed earlier, in all of my rambling, fidgeting glory: My first vlog ever & my thrift store finds/advice!

Don't let my outstanding French knowledge distract you from the fact that I wore brights and (different) leopard flats yesterday.  I went to Marshall's last night while waiting on a friend for dinner, and this little orange cardi just jumped in my arms and begged to come home with me.

Waaaay too forward.

All in all, we have had an amazing 18 hours together.  I love you, RLL cardigan.

(especially your buttons, wink.)

We have a bright future ahead of us.

(obviously I am both one or the other)

Then you'll love my clutch I found at the thrift store yesterday.

That baby set me back a whole $3 and she was not as needy as the cardigan,

 but she was cheaper, indeed.

I bought some great stuff, and am having wild ideas of doing a VLOG haul!

Thoughts? Yay, nay, may-bay?

Planning summer camps can be tough, the only prescription is more fruit.

I did not really think I would get in to this Royal Wedding hullabaloo.

As it turns out, I am completely enthralled by every single aspect of it.

Kate Middleton is gorgeous, and she is going to be a princess...uhhh awesomesauce.

The ring, the dress, the ceremony... cannot wait.

Last night I watched the Barbara Walters special AND the William and Kate movie 

and another special on Lifetime...

I am considering it historical research and calling it good.

Bring on the extravagance.

I wanted to wear as many bright colors as I could and this was the result.

Thus, why I am linking up with the Color Brigade today.

I missed you oh-so much.  Don't you hate weekends that fly by, yet when you get to work Monday, you forgot how to do your job, or worse how to drive?

That's me today.

I quickly regained my ability to drive after some caffeine...

I love embellished necklines
on dresses and shirts, because you don't have to wear a necklace.  Accessorizing is my last thing to do in the morning and I am always rushin' like a fool, 

so mostly I forget altogether.

Me and the tripod had a better experience today than yesterday's disaster.

However, I still was not feeling as "bright, shiny happy" as my boss told me I looked this morning.

Not sleeping in my own bed for the last three nights has had quite an effect on me.
