I did not really think I would get in to this Royal Wedding hullabaloo.
As it turns out, I am completely enthralled by every single aspect of it.
Kate Middleton is gorgeous, and she is going to be a princess...uhhh awesomesauce.
The ring, the dress, the ceremony... cannot wait.
Last night I watched the Barbara Walters special AND the William and Kate movie
and another special on Lifetime...
I am considering it historical research and calling it good.
Bring on the extravagance.
I wanted to wear as many bright colors as I could and this was the result.
Thus, why I am linking up with the Color Brigade today.
So, what do you all think?
Are you obsessed with all things Royal?
A little, or a lot?
Either way... here's some thoughts on my mind:
This really motivated me today:

My main focus...

Lastly, I reeeeeally love this nail art done by Kara at Sprinkles in Springs:
I'm gonna get on this tonight... lovely, lovely!
I've missed out on all the royal hooplah, but I'm SOOO interested. I hope they show the movie, again. I definitely want to see the wedding! When is it??
ReplyDeleteLove all of your colors (you know I'm always a fan of rainbows throwing up on fabric) AND those nails are killa! Can't wait to see 'em on you!
Ya know, I wasn't really into the royal stuff at first either, but now I kinda wanna DVR the wedding when it happens. I agree that Kate Middleton is GORGEOUS, and I think I'm gonna tell my stylist that I want her hair next time I go in.
ReplyDeleteI had to chuckle when I saw that your tanks were "acquired." How mysterious, hehe.
I love all your bright colors and your cute bun. This look would also work for the Bloggers Do It Better Color Blocking challenge I read about, too.
Ooooh, thanks for the heads-up! I need more unique colored pieces, I am so guilty of buying just neutrals (mainly black) and prints... All of the bloggers with bright pink blazers and red skirts, I'm JEALOUS!
ReplyDeleteIt is Friday, April 29.. at like 11am in Britain... I suck at time zones, so IDK when it will show here :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure LIfetime will pimp that movie out in the next few days, the acting and accents were painful at times, but all in all- a typical, enjoyable lifetime movie! :)
Omg! Your outfit is fabulous. I love love love that necklace! Also the cardi is perfect on you and your pretty eyes!
ReplyDeleteI color blocked with pink & red. And threw in a little lime green: http://bit.ly/i4vnuF
Necessatory.
ReplyDeleteDude.
ReplyDeleteHere is further proof of our collective awesomeness. I had those same shoes from Payless, and I wore them so much, I blew out the soles. They literally went with everything I owned.
Holla.
Girl, Kate should take a note from your book and bring the COLOR to the ceremony, haha. How awesome would that be? I'm psyched too, real-life fairy tales are thrilling :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, love! I NEED red and I want orange... Love your look! (and your puppy!)
ReplyDeleteWhat what whaaaaaaat?! There are no limits to this awesomeness. I actually found them in the back of my closet recently, they're barely worn. You bet I'm giving them some love now. Poor, deserted shoes.
ReplyDeleteThat would be beyond amazing... I love Kate, obsessed really... White dress, jewel toned statement necklace, blue shoes... she could work it.
ReplyDeleteYou are a beauty! I love your outfit too!

I cannot get enough of the Royal Wedding! I am SO excited for it next week!
ReplyDeleteAnd clearly you are amazing making all of those colors work. *circle snap*
I'm excited to see the wedding, but I'm not so engulfed in it. Back to your colorful outfit, I'm loving those leopard flats - I just ordered some online, but didn't like how they looked in real life, I wish they sent me yours in the mail!
ReplyDeleteHi doll! I don't see the backlink to Bloggers Do It Better or the button...just wanted to check before having to take it off! :( You can find the information here: http://prettyshinysparkly.com/bloggers-do-it-better-series/ or here: http://prettyshinysparkly.com/bloggers-do-it-better-color-blocking/
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog the other day and I love your style and personality. I'm also addicted to the Royal Wedding and Kate and William. While I prefer Harry to William, I think Kate has amazing style, and seems so nice and down to earth!
ReplyDeletelove all your colors and your bun! I'm into the bun now too! You're adorable!
ReplyDeleteLove all the colors - especially the unexpected neon sticking out. :)
ReplyDeleteMeggy from Chasing Davies

ReplyDeleteThanks!!! I love them, I have two pairs, both from payless that get tons of wear!
ReplyDeleteOoooh circle snap just MADE MY DAY!
ReplyDeleteHaha, I just love acquiring things! I think the top tank used to be my sisters and I have no idea when the under tank was left at my house... yay me!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I do prefer the look of Prince Harry myself, but I am all in to gowns and diamonds... Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteI am totally down for the club, we need a cool name.... and a secret handshake.
ReplyDeleteThanks Meggy!
ReplyDeleteThanks, MIchelle! Buns are the way to go!!!!
