Want It Wednesday

Here are a handful of things I am hopelessly wanting this lovely hump day:
Dying for these shorts, and throw in that flower headband and you won't hear a peep outta me!

I'm always down for some bubbly, but this recipe for Tangerine Sorbet Champagne Floats!
HOLY YUM!
Trying to eat healthy over here, so I can't wait to try this protein waffle recipe I stumbled upon!
Gimme, gimme!

Such a great quote, I am trying to focus on my optimism these days :)
I am really, really wanting my hair to grow because I took way too long trying to do this hairstyle resulting in a gigantic failure.  One day!

Have a great hump day, my little chickens.

Friday Favorites

I just love to talk about things I love.  Which is right now includes but is not limited to the following:
I was sent this Olay Va-va-vivid cleanser from Influenster and I have used it every day since.  I love the smell and the little brush thing vibrates and gets your face super clean and makes it SO smooth.  I definitely recommend trying this!  Oh, and the best part is that it smells AMAZING!
Continuing my Netflix television show obsession, I moved on to Melrose Place.  At times it is completely melodramatic at times but I am so addicted to finding out what happens and hoping it gets more saucy.  PLUS: the early 90s fashion is painfully entertaining.
No description needed! HA! I ordered my first pair of Tory Burch flats as a gift to myself and they should arrive sometime next week. I can't wait to style them up this spring!
Starbucks announced their new drink this week, and as a SBUX ADDICT... I LOVE IT!
Definitely worth trying a triple venti nonfat one! :)
I feel like I talk about Gwynnie Bee all the time, but it is really never enough.  Getting 1-3 new garments delivered to my door a few times a week is JUST as amazing as it sounds.  Do yourself a favor and stop delaying and sign up for your free trial today.  Clothing without commitment AKA never having to worry about what you are going to wear on the weekends :) :)
ITS THE FREAKIN' WEEKEND BABY!
I am ready to throw on my fancy dancy shoes, enjoy the forecasted sunshine, and drink champagne from a pink can with some of nearest and dearest.  I wish you the best weekend, ever, my little chickens.  Check out all of the other ladies linking up with their faves here.

200th post + the grocery store

{dress: c/o eShakti, belt/necklace: dots, wedges: payless, cardi: LB, clutch: thrifted}

Welcome to the 200th post of Matters of Merrymaking!
Can you believe it?  It seems like just yesterday that this little blog was taking off with little direction and no-how.  Almost a year ago! It's been the biggest year of my life so far in many ways, and I just wanna thank all of my blog loves that have had such an influence on me.

Moving on!  Last night, my sisters, my mom, (and Kelsey, muwah) went to the Dixon Art Gallery for a Sparkling Evening at the Dixon.  Charlotte is one of our favorite fine jewlery stores here in Memphis, and it was such a fun event.  We got to taste different champagnes and wines, paired with CHOCOLATE by Chocistry!
I mean, could you imagine anything more divine??
There was chocolate made with sweet potato, bacon and pepper, and cherry blossom.  A kick in the taste buds, for sure.

I was so excited to debut my new suede red pumps, and got lots of compliments on them.
We all know how I feel about wine and art... the most perfect evening :)

Thanks for coming by for the 200th post and stuff.
You rock, little chickens.

And if you are a huge fan of my grocery store pics, it's because the gal helped me conquer my fear of public fashion photography! That's my sister, E, she took my pictures AND picked out the perfect tomatoes in the aisles of Kroger.  Flawlessly, might I add.
