I don't know what is more simple than a white tee and jeans! Meanwhile, I refuse to go a week without wearing my green vest... so throw that in and you have my outfit. Badabing! Seriously folks, I will cry when this baby (eventually) gets lost or horribly damaged from my love. There are two things I just don't think I can live without: my green army vest and sweet and sour Twizzlers.
Currently, I am off Twizzlers (I KNOW???!!!!!!) so be prepared to see the vest reappear again soon.
Don't forget there are two giveaways open to my little chickens! BE sure to enter!!

Happy Tuesday, my little chickens! Boy, I have missed you all! I took of for the weekend a little early, and I am just now getting my life in order on a Tuesday morning. Go figure. The summertime cannot come soon enough. I won't even talk about the weather (sans this sentence) because the two of us cannot see eye to eye and are not speaking. I have a lot of new chickens around these parts, so I just want to say HELLO to you! Also, let me introduce you to one of my favorite pastimes: pattern mixing!
This outfit was so fun and the perfect, peppy outfit to run around downtown and grab lunch with some family and friends. Gotta love Gwynnie Bee because I probably never would have grabbed this dress off of a rack, but I loved it in when I tried it on! It was so comfortable, too! If you don't know much about my love affair with Gwynnie Bee... it is like Netflix for clothes. I fill out my online closet with styles I adore and want to try, and they send me three at a time that I can switch unlimited amounts! It basically gives me the walk-in closet without breaking my teeny tiny little teacher salary.
This face below was made out of sheer and complete frozen shock at the weather over the weekend! I took my coat off and immediately regretted it, photo shoot over.
Hope your weekend was full of cheer, family, friends and fun. We are recovering today with shopping, lunch, naps, and hot chocolate (in that order, haha)
We had such a good Christmas Eve with friends and Christmas Day with my immediate family.
Lots of food, fun, and merriment.
(and that was before Santa came)
I got the most wonderful things for Christmas, exactly what I wanted! Santa brought me a Kindle Fire which has become forever attached to my hand and that GORGEOUS Silpada hematite and quartz sterling silver ring. He's got good taste, I know!
My siblings and I draw names for Secret Sibling Santa (there's four of us, plus my sister-in-law) for gifts this year. My little sister Sarah, or as I like to call her Sneaky, drew my name but spent the last few weeks telling me she had our other sister. What a sneak! She had me all along and she got me a case for the kindle fire and that luscious eggplant Michael Kors purse. I'm spoiled, full of good food, and ready for 2012, I'd say it was a successful holiday!
Did you get your wish list fulfilled? Or were you super surprised?

Are you so happy that it's FRIDAY!? I am. Have a great weekend now, my little chickens.
And in case you're not in the Halloween spirit yet....
This list was inspired by my IRL friend, Faye @ Faye's Book, she admits to not seeing many scary movies in her life. I am proud to boast the opposite, I would much rather see a horror, suspense, thriller than your romantic comedy. Faye wrote a post listing MSN's top 50 most terrifying films. She had seen seven. I have seen a couple more than her (twanky-one to be exact). To be fair, I HAVE seen many of the remakes of these movies... just not the originals. I put the ones I have seen in bold. If these really are considered super terrifying I know what I am adding to my Netflix queue!

The best days start with Starbucks and end with dinner and sister sleepovers.
That's a proven fact.
This dress is without a doubt on of my favorite fashion investments. I love the cut, how it cuts at the waist, and the fact that I can layer with anything. Good purchase, Bekah!
Hello my lovely, faithful, ever-encouraging chickens!
I GOT DRESSED!
and took pictures... I didn't know how much I had missed it.
I FINALLY got batteries for my camera and even though my tri-pod is AWOL, I propped my camera beauty on my Jeep and went bonkers.
I definitely was hankerin' for a taste of my old routine, and I got to skip work dress code today because DUH... IT'S SUMMER!
I hope you guys excuse the car-as-a-tri-poddyness of these pictures and focus on my new favorite top in the world. I never knew love would come in such a color, but it DOES! My new best friend is named MK and I don't care who knows it. Scored those shades by him at TJ Maxx too!
you can call me crazy eyes, if you want.
I will be spending my day drinking iced coffee, making up scavenger hunt riddles for 8 weeks of summer camp, & buying toys with someone else's money.
Don't hate me too much, it's a tough job, but someone has to do it.
