It was 6:45 am, freezing, windy (hence the wild hair), and snowing (!!!) when I took these.  AND I curled my hair. I know, I'm impressed, too. I am probably the only crazy person who will say this, but I am glad winter is finally here.  I got tired of wearing layers and winter sweaters only to shed them by noon.  I like bundling up and being able to wear a scarf all day long.  Yep, call me crazy.

This shirt used to be my dads, and I love it.  It's the perfect amount of worn-in and comfortable, and adds just the dash of crocodile hunter I was going for.

wet snow + fashion hunters

As I pile on the layers to deal with this bipolar Memphis weather, I am shocked to find that it is STILL snowing this (Tuesday) morning when I was leaving for school.  Naturally, I got crap pictures due the extreme wind, snow/sleet, and clouds and the porch! I needed to take cover, y'all... and you'll notice that none of the snow stuck and we just have a muddy mess all over. Oh well, I was not feeling the freeze due to the flannel, baby!Seriously, I snagged this vintage St. John's Bay men's button up from the way backity back of my dad's closet.  SCORE!  Being tall,  I rarely find a button up long enough for leggings.... until today!And the pictures don't do it justice- I loved the colors together.

Santa is giving me one too, gosh that man sure makes you wait for the fun stuff.

On a totally different subject, I am OBSESSED with the show Fashion Hunters of Bravo!Do any of you watch? It is amazing.  I am obsessed with the hunt, the bargain, and the drama.ALL. OF. IT.  Those green Louboutin's from last night's episode... DREAM!

it's all white over here, and i'm slightly over it.

i love winter, but we have had more snow this winter in Memphis than before.

i'm all for snow days, but the spring lovin' girl in me is begging for some slightly warmer temps.

snowin' in memphis

Snow is here!  We welcome the first snow of 2011 with open arms and a day of school/work.  What would a snow day be without bright colored accessories and some warm Ugg boots, with a black peacoat of course!  Hope you and yours stayed warm.  Here are some pics of our adventures.
