HAPPY HALLOWEEN :)

That sign is my ABSOLUTE favorite. Totally encompasses my love of the holiday.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN
my little chickens.
I hope you have the spookiest, most enjoyable 31st ever.
I won't be doing anything too crazy today, as I celebrated this past weekend.
We watched our favorite ghost shows (ghost adventures, anyone?), went to see our favorite cover band (SNOZberry) at a haunted (?) old brothel-turned-restaurant (earnestine and hazel's) in downtown Memphis, and had a great time in our costumes (i was a flapper, obvi)!
It was definitely the most fun halloween I have had in a few years
aaaaaaaaaand:
NO INJURIES!
woohoo.
My BFF Carli and me before the show.
ON ME: dress: ASOS | shoes: nine west | fishnets: party city | headband, necklaces, boa: borrowed}
Laura, my sister-in-law, Carli and me

 George Michael and me, obviously.

Did you all have the most amazing Halloween everrrr?!
Hope so.
Enjoy tonight and if you are going trick or treating, y'all be careful :)
oh, and save me the reese's pumpkins- they're my favorite.

fall flannel + halloween injuries

{jeans: ross | flannel shirt: vintage, dads | boots: payless | sunglasses: kate spade | bracelets: random}

Fall is definitely in the air!  We had lovely weather this past weekend, along with some scary movies and haunted corn mazes.  I swear I am still apologizing for my shrieks and terror-induced hand squeezing injuries to my friends.  It was a ton of fun... especially after it was over :)

It's almost Halloweeeeeen!
What are you guys going to be?? SPILL!
I am going to be a flapper, all with materials I already own and/or borrowing.
Except for shoes, I am having the most difficult time finding flapper shoes.
But, you have to understand something about me....
 the past one two halloweens have ended up with me SERIOUSLY injured.
maybe one day, I will tell you the stories... but I need low low heels or flats for my flapper costume.
holler if you come across some.
i wear a size HUGE.
xoxo

PS Did you check out my Take Four post yesterday?

bright sun + most terrifying movies

{dress: Michael Kors | olive green blazer: old navy | flower: handmade | shoes: payless }

Are you so happy that it's FRIDAY!? I am.  Have a great weekend now, my little chickens.

And in case you're not in the Halloween spirit yet....
This list was inspired by my IRL friend, Faye @ Faye's Book, she admits to not seeing many scary movies in her life.  I am proud to boast the opposite, I would much rather see a horror, suspense, thriller than your romantic comedy.  Faye wrote a post listing MSN's top 50 most terrifying films.  She had seen seven. I have seen a couple more than her (twanky-one to be exact). To be fair, I HAVE seen many of the remakes of these movies... just not the originals.  I put the ones I have seen in bold.  If these really are considered super terrifying I know what I am adding to my Netflix queue!
