This is about as preppy as I get, friends and neighbors.

I love the dress, picked up at my neighborhood Old Navy for 30% off of $8.00.

Match made is prepster striped heaven.

I realize I wrote 'dress' twice on this and forgot to fix it, but I am way too tired. Ignore it, yo.

These flip flops (that you can barely see) were picked up at the sidewalk sale JUST last Saturday.

Today, they broke... and I was super upset. 

 Flip flop fail.

And don't think I forgot the holiday: I just celebrated REALLY early in the week with one of my BFFs, Carli... we shared a strawberry margarita.

After I finished off my pitcher of mango.

Hope you guys had a fun 5th of May!

I guess a part of being super grown up now was not being able to party all night tonight!

Oh well, the ice cream and Grey's Anatomy suited me just as well!

I'll save the margs for the weekends.

If you follow me on Twitter, you'll remember that about a week ago, I was talking about having my first post-grad job interview. I went.  It happened.  I had to wait 6.5 excruciating hours to hear back.

I GOT THE JOB!

This is what I wore to the interview last Thursday, and frankly, this is the last thing I have had time to photograph.  Between rain and tornados and finals, my time to fluff and strut has been severely diminished...

I know- I hate seeing less pictures of me, too.

I won't relinquish too many deets about my employment, for obvious reasons.

But, if you're wondering about my severe casual appearance, it's because I'll be working in private school early childhood education. I'm excited to play around with different facets of clothing that fit dress code and 'bekah-code*' because I think meshing yourself is muy importante!

So once I work out a strategic get dressed-take pics-post them-eat cake routine, I'll be back to the normally scheduled merrymaking.

HEY LITTLE CHICKENS!Hello to the new, and a slap on the tush to the old... Hope you guys are doing well!==================================================================Since this is my last EVER day of undergrad exams, I wanted to reminisce about the beginning of college life.And obviously, I want to share it with y'all.I remember my first day, I lived in the dorm with my older sister (it was cheating in the realm of college experiences, but I really lucked out by never having a random roommate.)I had to ask her where my building was & I was like twenty minutes early for class.

Yes, I am wearing a Pirates of the Caribbean necklace... and no I don't know why either.

I met some of the most amazing people in the beginning of my college career.  We all grew up together and went our own ways, but I know that I would not have made it without them.I would not trade that time for anything!

I did not always know what I was doing, but I always made sure to have fun with it.I hope all of you enjoyed looking/reading about my college time, and I'll be back with updated pictures and stories as soon as I kill these exams.

current obsession: {leopard nails}

In the past, whenever I feel a strong love or obsession with an item, I have shared it here.  I have decided to make it a recurring feature, because there is never a shortage on things to obsess over.Previously, I coveted pleats and went ga-ga over feather extensions.Today we are going to get loony over leopard nails.

If you read any beauty blogs, or pay attention to the drugstore deals- you might already be familiar with Sally Hansen's SALON effects: Real Nail Polish Strips.  The leopard ones are called Kitty Kitty.I will definitely be back to purchase the houndstooth and lace effects once these come off.
If you are at all weary of giving this a try because it seems crazy or you don't think it will work: STOP IT! SHUT UP! and GO GET THEM! :)
I was skeptic but I wanted to see what they were all about.  They are amazing.  Once you get the hang of how to apply them- You can be done in 12-15 minutes! They are supposed to last up to ten days, but I am only at hour 12.  I'll keep you updated on that. Even if they last 3 days, that's longer than I go without a manicure chip.

At Walgreens, you can get a pack of 16 nail strips for $9.99, but they are often on special.Have y'all tried these before? Any other nail polish trends you are loving on?Hope you are having a beautiful Sunday!Enjoy your friends and family today :)
