best. day. ever.

these pictures below were taken on my single, care-free, wonderful, no-work, lovely afternoon of galavanting.
seriously- i  have not had such a good time in the middle of the day in a LONG TIME.
we went to the pink palace museum, 
in midtown memphis (free admission on tuesdays after 1pm)
i saw my first planetarium show.  
reclining chairs, dark sky, stars...


 i fell asleep.
it was lovely.
we (sister #2 + friend) took pictures outside the mansion museum.

it's back to boots and pants here.  my short play time with bare legs and sandals are on hiatus.

black woven skinny belt:  torrid.com
gray boots:  hotcakes from shoe depot
green felt flower headband:  borrowed from sister #2
creepy smile below: priceless
I've bragged on this little fashionista before.  I just think she is the most adorable thing ever.
Maybe, I'm partial.
Ladies, this is my baby sister.

They're adorable.  We had so much fun.
We were joined by some other favorites and the fun continued.
Lunching, museums, sno cones, guitar hero, shrimp tacos, carnival foods, board games.

    I love your outfit! The cardigan is sweet and I love it when people mix patterns. I also adore your sister's hat. Isn't going to a museum in the middle of a work-day the best? I used to work at a museum as a curatorial assistant and I loved week days because I could go down and actually talk to visitors without there being a giant crowd. It was always nice to get feedback and they always seemed to enjoy their visits more than weekend-ers.
