Hard Rock Tutus

dress as skirt: c/o eShakti // van halen shirt: torrid //
blazer: gordman's // clutch: vintage // wedges: payless // lipstick: NARS heatwave

I'm not the kind of girl to just throw around the word 'love,' but I love love looooooove the juxtaposition of this outfit.  I am a major sucker for a tutu or tulle skirt (see here & here) so when eShakti send me this dress, I knew I could work things in many ways!  I can't wait to dress it up right, but for now I just had to pair it with the shirt I adore.
I'm not even ashamed to tell you that I only know one and half songs by Van Halen.

eShakti Bridesmaids Dress Review

If you did not catch yesterday's post, my little precious baby sister got married in June!  I was serving as co-MOH with my other sister in the bridal party, along with some other good looking ladies! When the bride, Sarah, told us she wanted green dresses we search HIGH and loooooow for a dress we all liked, in green, that we wouldn't hate wearing in 100 degree weather at an outside wedding.  It was hard, hard, hard.  Not to mention we are all different ranges of sizes, heights, and skin tones.
Long story short, and a lot of Google searches later, the Bride decided a variety of shades of green and different styles could be fun and fresh for the ceremony. WINNING!
emerald green bridesmaids dress: c/o eShakti // gold sandals: payless

I've talked about eShakti a few times before (here, here, and here.) They have customized dresses in a HUGE variety of sizes that can be made specifically just for you, your mom, or your great Aunt Sally. They have a line of bridesmaids dress, y'all.  Seriously, you could outfit a Duggar wedding with this site.  I cannot explain my excitement when they sent me a dress from the line to review!
I picked the Hailey style in emerald green, and I was thrilled from the get-go.  It is hard for me to order a generic bridesmaid dress because i am not a generic size nor height.  eShakti did not disappoint and I totally give them a five star review for making this MOH's duties a little easier and A LOT cuter.
My other sister (far right) and my sister-in-law (far left) loved the idea of picking their dress, adjusting the hem and neck line, etc.  All three bridesmaids above rocked eShakti on Sarah's big day!

The Best Kind Of Blues

 {dress: c/o eShakti | tights: we love colors | booties: lane bryant | studded blazer: gordman's | necklace: dots | clutch: navoh}

Bear with me, but as this month ends- I am suffering from the winter blues.  I just want it to end!
The weather outside may not be cooperating with me, but my closet is so ready for warm weather, candy colored accessories, and spring dresses!  When one of my favorite online shops, eShakti, contacted me and wanted me to review something from their Spring line- first stop... dresses!  They carry their entire stock in size 0-36W, and they believe that every one is a different shape and size, and that your clothes should be able to be as unique as you are. (I picked out this fine number right here) My faaaaaavorite thing about eShakti is that they offer customizations to every style. Shorter? Higher neckline? Add some sleeves? Pockets/no pockets? SURE THANG! I wanted a sassier style for nights out ((I wore it out just last Saturday)), so I opted to go for a shorter, tunic length.  It gives it more of a tutu look than a church dress- and that's prime merrymaking material right there, chickens!  LOVE IT!
See my previous fabulouness from eShakti here and here.

GOOD NEWS:
: eShakti is offering 20% off your order today JUST for readers of Matters of Merrymaking!  Give yourself, or someone you love, with the gift of customization!

Sheer Genius

{the best dress ever: c/o eShakti | studded blazer: Gordman's | red wedges: payless | necklace: F21}

It's not secret that this Merrymaker goes goo-goo over a dress every now and then!  It's now and then again! eShakti sent me this sheerly amazing dress a few months back, and it was the perfect dress for my first holiday party of the season! (p.s. POCKETS!!!) I am in LOVE with the sweetheart bust & sheer top.  Matched up with a studded, cropped blazer = bingo bango bongo! Oh, and no soiree is complete without my go-to red wedges.  Go check out eShakti! They have an amazing line of fall/winter dresses that are all FULLY customizable!  I wanted this to be a lady-like dress so I chose to have it hit right above the knee.  Gotta love that!!! You will NOT be disappointed, my little chickens!  Let me know what fabulous finds you discover.  I want to add this gold one to my collection of happy party dresses. Happy Friday! Enjoy your weekend, your family and friends, and the upcoming festivities! Cheers!!!!!

eShakti Product Review

When I was contacted by eShakti to review a product from their online store, I was more than thrilled to scour the pages and pages of their wonderful items.  Upon visiting, I was sold by the fact that the eShakti offers CUSTOM clothes ALL available in sizes 0-26w.
At eShakti they believe that:
  "One size does not fit all and all sizes are not created equal."
 HOW EMPOWERING! In addition to that gloriousness, they offer customizations to fit YOUR body!   Fashion should be for everyone, not just for my sample size gals.  Whether you are chest heavy or rockin' some trunk-age... you can order clothes made to fit your measurements.  We all know I am a tall chick and I prefer not to show everyone my goodies when I wear a dress.  I entered my height in the measurement form to ensure that my custom-made dress was perfecto!

So you bet your candy apples, it was hard for me to pick an item to review.  I decided on this ruffle waterfall dress, because we all know how I feel about ruffles.
I got my package in the mail just about a week after ordering and FELL IN LOVE.
The fit is perfection & the custom length is juuuust right.
 The quality is excellent and this dress, and soon MORE eShakti items, will be living in my closet forrreeevvveeerrrr.  Be sure to check out all that eShakti has to offer you and YOUR body today.
I promise you will not be disappointed because after all- they design + you customize :)
{dress: c/o eShakti | belt, gold bangles: dots | blazer: old navy | wedges: nine west | clutch: vintage, thrifted | necklace, leather bracelet: Mama Chickie}
Hope you guys are having a super cool Monday.  XOXO.
