Pirate Convention

Saturday night was my first completely free weekend evening in a looooong time. Too long.We set out with the plan to make it a rememberable weekend, and I think we succeeded.  I went out to a fabulous dinner with a friend + to a party (more about that later!)I was jazzed by the cooler temps, which to me meant one two things.{leggings + boots.}The weather this weekend was fabulous and we enjoyed a lot of time outside, it was the best.

eShakti Product Review

When I was contacted by eShakti to review a product from their online store, I was more than thrilled to scour the pages and pages of their wonderful items.  Upon visiting, I was sold by the fact that the eShakti offers CUSTOM clothes ALL available in sizes 0-26w.

So you bet your candy apples, it was hard for me to pick an item to review.  I decided on this ruffle waterfall dress, because we all know how I feel about ruffles.

I got my package in the mail just about a week after ordering and FELL IN LOVE.

The fit is perfection & the custom length is juuuust right.

saturday style

I wore this thrown together outfit a couple Saturdays ago for a family dinner (MEXICAN!) and then to a friend's party (HI, CARLI!)  I wanted to wear this tunic dress thingie one more time before it got too cold to wear it as a dress.  Also, I was yearning to wear my lace up combat boots again.The remedy:

Oh, and sometimes me and Ozzy sporadically dance on the front porch at night... he's my little fuzzy man.  I wasn't sure how night time pictures (with a flash) would turn out, but the porch lights helped and I didn't want to miss this outfit, y'all.  I like how the girlie jewel print is de-feminized slightly by the rugged boot.  I live for juxtapositions.  And Coke zero.That's no joke.
