paper doll project 4.0

I sure do love to dress, but I also love to style others.  So the annual Paper Doll Project was not to be missed.  I have had amazing partners every time, and this time was NO different.  I was teamed up with the darlin' Miss Hannah, from An Old Story, who was just sweet as she could be.
I wanted to style this DKNY lace stop, previously seen here.
She paired it with this thrifted blazer, skirt, and necklace for some color.
LOVE IT!
{blazer: thrifted | skirt: torrid | lace top: DKNY | necklace: dots | shoes: nine west}

Go see Hannah's blog, An Old Story, to see how I dressed HER!
You'll have to excuse the major foggage in these pictures, it was crazy and creepy out this morning.
Be sure to check out the other ladies who participated this time in the project!

And you should check out my giveaway, little chickens.

paper doll project 3.0

Hello chickens, chiclets, and chickadees!
It's a HOT one out there, hope everyone is keeping it cool and classy.
It's Paper Doll Project time again!  It is the third time we have done it, and every time I am always flabberghasted at how amazing it is to have someone else style your outfit from head to toe.  These fabulous ladies I have been hooked up with have been marvelous! Last time, I was partners with Kelsey and it was amazing! LOOK at how she styled my crop top.

This time I was paired with Melissa of Be Your Own Adventure.
And while I started out being a slack-tastic parter, M forgave me and we worked on styling one another.
I swear something about this heat and humidity has me at a 0.00% inspiration level.

So I just dove in & picked this dress for Melissa to style and I love the versatility she saw in it.
Melissa, wanna help me get dressed everyday? K thanks :)

She did the best job ever, right?
Go to her blog and check out how I styled her outfit for today!

Thanks for coming by :)

paper doll project 2.0

Good morrow, little chickens.
I am SO stinkin' excited to be participating in the second round of the Paper Doll Project.
You can check out my last partner-styled round here.
This round I was paired with the ever so classy and super stylish little lady, Kelsey.
Her blog is Snappy Casual, and she is making BIG ole splashes in the bloggie land, and for obviously reasons.  I love her fab style and killer smile.
Check her blog out... She is out of control awesome.

With the Paper Doll Project, the partners pick one item of clothing they would like styled by their respective partner.  I picked this white top, previously worn here.
And here is the WHOLE OUTFIT (aka magic) styled by Miss Kelsey herself.

I'm really glad she wanted to pair the tribal-dyed maxi dress with the white top.  I wanted to belt this top but never got around to doing it before today! I love love it.
All in all, I am thrilled with how it turned out! I may need to consult Kelsey more often :)

Be sure to check out how I styled Kelsey today, by checking out Snappy Casual.
RUN! Don't walk.
Have a wonderful hump day.

|Paper Doll Project|

Through the genius innovation of one lovely little Suze at Miss Vinyl Ahoy, came her brainchild:
THE PAPER DOLL PROJECT
Every blogger who wanted to participate was randomly paired with another blogger, and we styled one another.  My lovely partner was Claire from A Monkey Fatshionisha.
I chose this black dress to be styled.  Claire loved my striped cardigan, so she styled it and the dress with the rest of the accessories.
If you want to see how I styled Claire for the day, watch for her post on her blog.
I love the vintage vibe from these heels.  I think it's the black and white and the heel shape that
drew me to them.  They are from Payless a million years ago!
And you can't see my belt because it blends in, but I like to belt the dress, always.
 dress: ROSS
cardigan: LB
belt (it's black patent leather snakeskin): Dots
shoes: payless
shades: betsey johnson
lipstick: revlon, orange flip
necklace:  from a vendor at a crafts fair
The wind was playing games with me.
Seriously, wind, you have a great sense of humor.

My heavy turquoise necklace.
 I love it.
