I've never met an ASOS dress that I didn't like, but this one was love at first sight.

I am a leopard print obsessor, that's a given, but this print was different enough to be fresh and fun in another way.  I pulled it straight out of the bag & someone uttered, "Don't you already own that?"

In the famous words of little Michelle Tanner, "How rude!"

This girl might have a closet bedecked with leopard garments in a wide variety of textures and colors, but each piece is special on their own way, just trust me.  

Like this red/orange with gray mix, it's fun!

Good morning and happy Tuesday to you all! I hope you survived the muck of Monday and that you are in gear for a great week.  I actually had a fabulous Monday despite the rain and gloom we had as weather.  I had my coffee, a great day at work, and a workout (!!!)... my first in a little while.

In fact, I hadn't realized how long it had actually been until I drove to the gym and found it had relocated.

Don't worry, I found it.

Frozen

Let's talk this one out.  I have gotten up each morning for the past week, with every single intent of getting back in to the OOTD routine that I love!  Posting outfits here on Matters of Merrymaking is what I really enjoy doing.  There's only been one little problem....

It's freeeeeeeezing cold.

All I want to do it wear sweats and wrap myself in a snuggie.

Once this cold front passes, I hope to be able to take outfit pics outside again without braving the windchill of 3 degrees*.  (what is with that, Memphis?!)

You'll want to stick around, because I have TWO HUGE giveaways coming up next week once I give up the fleece-lined hoodies and Ugg boots & stop jamming to the Frozen soundtrack long enough.

*I realize this is nothing compared to what others have to endure this winter.  Gimme a pass on this, my sweet frozen little chickens.

Goodbye 2013, hello new year!

I'm a little behind on the 2013 recap train, but I wanted to reminisce a little, so I went through my posts over the last year and picked out some of my favorite posts/highlights, etc.

All in all, I think 2013 was great, a lot of personal growth, job change, great moments happening for my friends and family, numerous margaritas inhaled, and lots of Netflix hours logged.

Thanks a million for being a reader of this little bloggie doo, 

and I hope that 2014 will treat us all with kindness.
