I'll admit it.  I am proud of this outfit.  These pictures don't do it justice. (See Help Section below)ANYWHO... you know you did a good job of clothing yourself when 3 year olds notice.Bravo, Miss Bekah.I am loving fall and really hoping it sticks around so I can play with my clothes and have this much fun everyday.  Anyone have some fall trends they are really looking forward to? I'm not done with my research but I know I want some brown riding boots (these, perhaps) and a fisherman sweater in a neutral color. What about you?

TOMORROW is FRIDAY! But more importantly, tonight is the first SAINTS game of the NFL season! YAY! Geaux SAINTS! WHO DAT!

HELP:I literally take my pictures in 5-7 minutes as I am running to work.  So granted, they won't be perfect. BUT I am getting increasingly frustrated in the poor quality.  WHY are they so BRIGHT all of a sudden? I'm no camera genius, but this is not a normal issue for me. Any and all tips for me to reduce the brightness or do something to get better pictures in the 6:55 AM sunlight please share! I use a Canon Powershot SX130 IS with no flash, and the sun light is barely coming over the trees, y'all. Signed, Mystified in Memphis

Happy Hump Day! Isn't it weird how the 4 day weeks, sometimes are the longest, hardest weeks of work? Blah, I feel like the past two days have lasted a month.  At least there is one thing I cannot complain about-- this weather.  I drove around with my sunroof open & we grilled out for the second night in a row, NOT sweating. It's glorious, really.

I know what you are thinking... "Hey Bekah, girl, this is a personal style blog, can't you like stop dressing like a frumpy frumperkins and wow me or something?"

And my response is simple... I am simply uninspired at the moment.

We all have these times... the less than impressive days, and it's okay.

So just hang in their with me until Bekah gets her groove back.

In the mean time, you can't fail in comfort and style by grabbing skinnies and a tunic.  Holler.

P.S. I'll be consulting Pinterest for my homework tonight 100% :)

P.S.S. I am obsessed with The Rachel Zoe Project and I suffer with lack of sleep because I stayed up so late to watch it. :) :)

  Anywho, I am excited by this weather, it was 57 degrees when I took this pics and considering the awful heat we have had this summer.... I'll take it.

This blazer was one of the end-of-winter clearance finds and this is the first time I am able to wear it: YAY! I picked up these pants this weekend at a gap outlet, 30% off. YAY YAY!

Hey, if you have to go back to work after a three day weekend at least you can do it with some brand new threads, baby! Have a good Monday... oops, I mean Tuesday!

the best of intentions

I really wanted to achieve a soft feminine look, with a touch of edge.  I loved the idea of pairing the black lacy shirt with the light peach skirt! But, once photographed, I hated it! Not a huge fan of this outfit! Maybe I just waited too late in the day and the overwhelming haze of humidity made everything blurry and blah.  I wore it to dinner and got a few random compliments, but all in all this isn't my fave.

In other news, I need a haircut.  Pinterest-ing some pics for inspiration as we speak.

Also, I went on a TJ Maxx shopping spree yesterday because I was oh-so-inspiring by this post by my favorite cute and little blogger, Kileen.
