Spring Break

The merrymaking around these parts may be a little sporadic this week, as I am officially on Spring Break. If you are new to this blog madness, then you may not know that I am a Pre-K teacher and still reap the benefits of a school calendar. However, I have the job of babysitting two princesses this week and we shall be bringing our style to the children's museum and the Memphis zoo... So there will be merrymaking for all ages! Even though I am not beach side, I am still ready for all things bright & springy.

Friday Favorites

I just love to talk about things I love.  Which is right now includes but is not limited to the following:

 I was sent this Olay Va-va-vivid cleanser from Influenster and I have used it every day since.  I love the smell and the little brush thing vibrates and gets your face super clean and makes it SO smooth.  I definitely recommend trying this!  Oh, and the best part is that it smells AMAZING!

 Continuing my Netflix television show obsession, I moved on to Melrose Place.  At times it is completely melodramatic at times but I am so addicted to finding out what happens and hoping it gets more saucy.  PLUS: the early 90s fashion is painfully entertaining.

 No description needed! HA! I ordered my first pair of Tory Burch flats as a gift to myself and they should arrive sometime next week. I can't wait to style them up this spring!

 Starbucks announced their new drink this week, and as a SBUX ADDICT... I LOVE IT!

Definitely worth trying a triple venti nonfat one! :)

I feel like I talk about Gwynnie Bee all the time, but it is really never enough.  Getting 1-3 new garments delivered to my door a few times a week is JUST as amazing as it sounds.  Do yourself a favor and stop delaying and sign up for your free trial today.  Clothing without commitment AKA never having to worry about what you are going to wear on the weekends :) :)

I rarely ever wear jeans on the le blog.  I rarely wear them in real life, aside from casual days at school! I am a fancy dress kind of girl, in case you have not noticed.... I love mixing the elephant print shirt from ASOS with the random scarf pattern.  I think I have officially become obsessed with all things animal printed and patterned.  But, I think I will draw the line at cats. I'm allergic.
In other news, I am obsessed with this song.  It may just become my new karaoke jam Who's in? I have liked Miranda since the beginning, but since I saw her in concert- LOVE her. {Miranda Lambert - Mama's Broken Heart}

ASOS: One Dress, Three Ways

I have not really been quiet about it, but I am so obsessed with this dress.  When I got it, I wanted to wear it every single day.  So, I kinda did.  HA!  I styled it up three different ways and had so much fun with it.  I love a piece that can be versatile on its own, but plays nice with others too! Springtime, is that you?

See that sunshine? It came after 2 days of freezing weather and snow flurries.  It was a welcome sight. I feel that springtime is very near, thus the bare legs.  Don't let me down now, March! Okay, now it's storytime:  My whole life (okay, maybe I am slightly exaggerating...) I have yearned for a perfect denim jacket.  I loved the layering aspect, the keep ya warm-but not too warm factor, and the way that they can carry over spring items in to pre-spring time!  In case you did not know, I am 6 feet tall... and with that height comes a six foot wingspan (and great hugs).  Finding sleeves long enough were always a problem, as well as fitting my broad-ish shoulders. Also, cropped on a tall person = under the boob area. WHAT IS THAT ABOUT?!  But alas, here we are.  It only took (almost) 25 years to track you down, but you are mine.  I think we will have a merry time, me and you.
